About Victoria Crockett

Victoria launched The Keepsake Co in 2002 as an on-line supplier of custom-designed Baby Keepsake Kits. Victoria’s initial business idea came to her by chance, whilst investigating ways to display a range of jewellery that she had designed.

Victoria began experimenting with ways to cast her own hands in order to create an unusual display to promote her jewellery. During this process, Victoria realised the enormous potential that existed offering casting kits to new parents via the internet.

Victoria's background in IT and software development proved instrumental in the early development and on-going success of her new venture. As an experienced website developer with a degree in Computer Science Victoria quickly developed her own website and on-line shop which became the platform from which The Keepsake Co was launched.

Through hard work and determination, Victoria managed to turn this initial idea, from a part-time, venture into a thriving business - which today has a large loyal base of customers and a sales turnover exceeding £80,000 per annum.

Victoria, knew that the next stage in expanding The Keepsake Co, would be in developing a range of products and services which parents could not create at home - for which they would require the services of trained professionals.

Around this time, Victoria met Michelle Williams who had been running her own very successful Clay Impressions Business. Victoria was amazed by by the quality and detail in Michelle’s imprints and couldn’t stop thinking about the huge possibilities that could be gained by joining forces.

Michelle had also been offering Business Opportunites to Women wishing to start their own Business, and like Victoria was immediately struck by the benefits of working together.

This amazing hand of fate has enabled Victoria and Michelle to combine their products, ideas and experience, to create the widest range of hand-crafted Keepsakes in the UK. These include a delightful range of 3D Casts of Baby's hands and feet, 2D Impressions, Glazed Clay Impressions, along with a stunning collection of Silver Jewellery, enabling parents to capture their children's fingerprints, early artwork or handwriting in a timeless piece of fine silver Jewellery.

From their initial meeting in early 2007, Victoria and Michelle have established a formidable Business which is growing from strength to strength. Today, The Keepsake Consultancy has a network of over 20 Independent Consultants, operating businesses under their guidance and support.
